Emmanuel was born in Nigeria, Africa, while Sabrina was born in Mobile Alabama. Although their cultures are different, each are based on strong christian values and that is the bond that cements their love and unity.   Emmanuel's attentiveness and chivalry was what attracted Sabrina to him, while he was enthralled by her look of innocence and youthful demeanor. Sabrina used to tell him that she was heading to church every time he asked her out.  So to be close to her, he decided to go with her to church the Uptown Church of Christ in San Francisco CA,  where naturally they ended up where they got married. 

Emmanuel proposed to Sabrina, one gorgeous day as he invited her to dinner in Sausalito, CA by the waterside.  He asked the waiter to pass a note to Sabrina with her engagement ring in it asking her to marry him. As she was reading the note, Emmanuel kneeled and asked for her hand. Naturally she said yes. Their favorite quote encompass how they feel for each other ... "It's amazing how one day someone walks into your life and you can't remember how you ever lived without them."
